About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Control Management Officer within Central Control. This role involves advising leaders on risk mitigation strategies, monitoring and evaluating business controls, and leading the strategy for complex risks across various business lines. The position requires engagement with multiple levels of the organization to design and implement effective risk management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as an advisor to leaders in developing risk mitigation strategies for complex business-specific risks.
• Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report the impact of decisions and business controls.
• Lead the strategy and resolution of complex current and emerging risks across multiple areas of the enterprise.
• Provide vision and expertise to leaders on implementing innovative business solutions for complex risks.
• Lead and mentor Control Management project or virtual teams.
• Engage with all levels of roles across the business group to design and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services Industry experience, or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Advanced Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) experience
• Prior experience in a business control, audit, or compliance role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to translate complex data into understandable information
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and adjust plans quickly
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
