About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager to act as a Product Owner within the Operational Infrastructure domains of Database and Middleware. This role involves advising senior leadership on digital products and initiatives, leading strategies to resolve complex challenges, and delivering innovative solutions that align with long-term business goals. The position requires coordination of complex activities and providing expertise to implement significant digital business plans that impact the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence digital products and initiatives.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges across multiple areas of the enterprise.
  • Deliver long-term, large-scale solutions requiring vision, creativity, and advanced analytical thinking.
  • Coordinate complex activities and provide guidance to others.
  • Provide vision and direction to senior leadership on implementing innovative digital business plans.
  • Engage strategically with professionals and managers across the enterprise.
  • Own, refine, and prioritize product backlog based on customer needs and business value.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology operations and/or engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience with products including Tomcat, Apache, JBoss, HTTP Server, IIS, WebLogic, WebSphere, Kafka KEES, MQ, Solace, Axway products, Connect Direct/NDM, Bluecoat proxy, Secure proxy, and WS_FTP.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business stakeholders.
  • Experience in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration and transparency.
  • Proven knowledge of standard concepts and practices within the relevant business function.
  • Understanding of various internal roles and their interactions with the product.
  • Experience with digital products/applications within the business function.
  • Strong network and ability to influence decisions within the business function.
  • Experience participating in agile teams.
  • Experience in backlog development including prioritization and grooming.
  • Familiarity with basic technology concepts such as testing.
  • Strong leader and collaborator with cross-functional teams.
