About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager to support the Chief Technology Office's Observability Team. This role involves collaborating across the organization to prioritize and make informed decisions regarding Observability solutions, enabling engineering teams to deliver high-value capabilities efficiently. The position aims to achieve significant OKRs for Wells Fargo while ensuring visibility across key systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a high-level product manager supporting logging and security applications.
  • Lead transformational activities related to logging technologies like Splunk.
  • Develop and execute complex digital business plans, programs, and initiatives with enterprise-wide impact.
  • Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience areas, requiring a strong understanding of business policies and compliance requirements.
  • Own the prioritization of a clearly understood product area backlog aligned to product area vision and goals.
  • Advise senior leadership on developing or influencing digital products and initiatives.
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas.
  • Deliver long-term, large-scale solutions that require vision, creativity, and advanced analytical thinking.
  • Coordinate complex activities and provide guidance to others.
  • Provide vision and expertise to senior leadership on implementing significant digital business plans.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of digital product management experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 7+ years' experience in Observability, Automation, Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Configuration Management, and Data Driven insights.
  • 5+ years' experience with Observability/Monitoring/Logging tools such as AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience with GCP or Azure.
  • 1+ years of experience with Google Chronicle or Splunk Enterprise Security.
  • 1+ years of experience with Google Cloud Logging or Splunk Enterprise.
  • 1+ years of experience with Cribl or Kafka data transport products.
  • 5+ years of experience leading large scale, complex product portfolios.
