About the position

The Senior Lead Java, Groovy, Spring Developer will play a crucial role in building the foundation for a next-generation web platform. This position involves supporting and extending existing applications while assisting in the automation design and development of new applications. The developer will be expected to evaluate and refactor infrastructure components rapidly, ensuring the application is designed to run on a scalable platform. The role requires working in an agile environment, emphasizing test-driven development and pair programming, while also evolving towards a dev/ops model with active engagement in monitoring and optimizing production environments.

Responsibilities

• Developing Automation Scripts for Groovy/Spring web applications
• Aggressive refactoring of existing code
• Utilizing Unix/Linux command line effectively
• Designing applications using Object Oriented Programming and Service Oriented Architecture principles along with REST

Requirements

• At least 10+ years of relevant application software development experience in Automation
• Strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development
• Proficient in Automation using Selenium
• Understanding of Message Queuing technologies (e.g. Rabbit/IBM/JMS/AMPQ)
• Experience in developing and consuming REST Services
