The Senior Lead Project Manager will play a critical role in this mission by driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, action-oriented, and focused on delivery. They will manage multiple objectives, projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously, establishing project plans and milestones for large, complex projects. This role requires a domain expert with strong business acumen who can develop and execute project plans that ensure successful enterprise program implementation. The Senior Lead Project Manager will also be a strategic thinker who creates strong, ongoing relationships with multiple stakeholders and end-user groups, becoming a trusted partner and influential advisor on change management issues. They will deliver strategic change plans that drive change adoption, enhance employee experience, and ensure sustainable outcomes for the business. Specific responsibilities include leading and managing large, complex enterprise projects, collaborating with executive stakeholders to define project objectives, developing comprehensive project plans, applying change management methodologies, monitoring project progress, and facilitating project post-mortem evaluations to capture lessons learned. The role also involves staying up to date on industry trends and best practices in project management to drive continuous improvement across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large, complex enterprise projects requiring multiple workstreams and functional teams.
  • Ensure project plans are appropriately integrated with other projects being led by the Enablement team and other business efforts.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, task assignments, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Apply change management methodologies and tools in developing change strategies and tactics, including communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitor project progress, track milestones, and proactively identify and address project risks and issues.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of change enablement strategies to drive adoption and compliance with new processes.
  • Facilitate project post-mortem evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in program or project management for enterprise-level programs or projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading cross-functional work teams and influencing outcomes through indirect people leadership.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering them on time and within budget.
  • Advanced project management skills and proficiency in related methodologies, tools, and software, including change management frameworks.
  • Proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from senior executives and key stakeholders through compelling communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing projects using Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
  • Experience in mediating conflicts and negotiating solutions with internal and external partners.
