About the position

The Senior Lead, Project Manager at Spin Master is responsible for driving the execution of global toys and games portfolios. This role requires a blend of technical, manufacturing, strategic, and process-mapping expertise, and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage product development from concept through production. The position emphasizes project management, risk management, and process optimization to ensure timely and quality delivery of products.

Responsibilities

  • Drive project plans in collaboration with cross-functional development teams to determine tasks, milestones, resources, planned and actual dates.
  • Act as integration lead amongst multi-disciplinary teams and global partners, executing project plans from concept to production.
  • Lead product milestone and integration meetings, creating action plans with clear deliverables.
  • Manage project and process optimization, working independently without supervision.
  • Lead multiple brands of low to high complexity projects from technical, cost, and schedule aspects, pre-empting potential issues.
  • Manage programs to time, cost, and quality reflective of business and development objectives.
  • Identify, anticipate, and manage risks or issues at the project level.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Partner with global operations to proactively mitigate delays and strategize appropriate solutions in development plans or processes.
  • Support and drive cross-functional category teams to manage projects including risks, key handoffs, and deliverables.
  • Monitor resource utilization within the program and recommend adjustments to resource allocation as needed.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed; present verbal and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
  • Lead corporate initiatives related to new processes, continuous improvement, and methodologies for product development.
  • Coach and mentor team members to support their development.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management role.
  • Extensive experience with plastics, materials, manufacturing, and/or engineering costs for durable goods.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Expert in MS Project, Agile, and/or other relevant project portfolio management tools to define and plan end-to-end development.
  • Proven track record for creating new processes to integrate new and existing technologies into conventional CPG development.
  • Advanced proficiency in creating and leading presentation materials for executive review.
