About the position

The Senior Learning & Development Specialist - III Program Manager Instruction Design Strategist is a centralized role that supports the Global Commercial Training and Development teams through innovative design work and project management. This position requires expertise in instructional design, project management, and the ability to manage multiple programs related to selling skills and therapeutic area needs. The role involves creating and maintaining e-learning content, engaging with stakeholders, and applying modern instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide learning project management services including instructional design development and revision of new and existing learning experiences.
  • Create and maintain e-Learning and microlearning content using authoring tools like Articulate 360/Storyline and Camtasia.
  • Engage project teams and stakeholders to define learning program goals, conduct needs analysis, and develop content.
  • Apply modern instructional strategies to drive behavioral outcomes and high engagement, leading all phases of the ADDIE process.
  • Design effective instructional methods and develop solutions that drive learning transfer.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of learning programs to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Partner with other Learning Organizations to create effective curriculum.
  • Design technical training programs including onboarding and product launches.
  • Manage workload responsibly to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Evaluate and recommend training programs and software to enhance learning transfer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, communications, or related field.
  • 4+ years of Learning & Development/Content development experience.
  • Experience working within a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting needs assessments and designing training programs.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to establish effective courses of action.
  • Working knowledge of media principles and their applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate degree in Instructional Design (Preferred).
  • Instructional Design and/or Training Professional Certification a plus.
  • 3+ years of strategic instructional design experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for virtual communication.
  • Ability to bring a creative element and ideation to the work.
