About the position

The Senior Learning Systems Associate at Beacon Building Products is responsible for managing and optimizing the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS) and Talent Suite. This role focuses on ensuring a seamless learning experience for users while supporting the Learning & Development and Talent Management teams. The position emphasizes technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet training goals and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the in-house Cornerstone LMS and Talent Suite expert for all features and functions.
  • Own LMS and Talent system administration, including uploading and maintaining user data and configuring course and enrollment rules.
  • Initiate troubleshooting for User Interface issues and proactively resolve obstacles related to course design and configuration.
  • Serve as client success manager to key stakeholders, ensuring certification and compliance requirements are met.
  • Partner with other teams on system integrations and provide feedback to learning content creators.
  • Ensure a consistently seamless learning and user experience and act as a liaison between Learning and Talent and technical support.
  • Support the Learning & Development team and Talent Management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years working experience with Cornerstone LMS Administration
  • Cornerstone Intermediate or Expert level certification for relevant modules
  • Strong technical skills including knowledge of HTML/CSS, SCORM and other e-learning standards
  • Experience launching a new LMS, including migrating user and learning history data
  • Basic knowledge configuring APIs, workflows, connections and plug-ins
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations
  • Self-starter who identifies problems, evaluates options, and initiates solutions
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles, digital learning, and assessment best practices
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Customer focused

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working as an LMS administrator in SuccessFactors
  • 2+ years working experience with Cornerstone Talent Suite
  • Eye for design, well-written content, and high-value production
  • Proficient skill with Computer Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Training delivery and/or development experience
