About the position

The Senior Level CAD Designer at POWER Engineers will be responsible for drafting and designing electrical utility and renewable energy projects. This role involves supporting site civil and land development engineering, including grading, drainage, and access road layout. The position offers flexibility with remote work options and requires collaboration with team members to ensure project accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

• Draft and design electrical utility and renewable energy projects.
• Support site civil and land development engineering plans and profiles.
• Manage grading and earthwork tasks.
• Implement erosion and sediment controls.
• Oversee stormwater management and drainage systems.
• Design access road layouts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of design and drafting experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with AutoCAD 2016-2025.
• Ability to self-check work for completeness and accuracy.
• Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 8+ years of design experience with AutoCAD 3D.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu software.
• Good background in site development and construction.
• Associates degree in drafting or equivalent technical degree.
