About the position

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Senior Litigation Attorney to join our award-winning team. As an integral senior member of our litigation team, you will be responsible for handling your own case load of litigation matters involving commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. You will also take on a supervisory role, overseeing a team of associates and assisting in their training and professional development. Responsibilities

  • Handle own case load of litigation matters involving commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims.
  • Oversee a team of associates and assist in their training and professional development.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategy.
  • Manage discovery and take and defend depositions.
  • Coordinate with experts and engage in law and motion practice.
  • Interface with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Prepare for trial and mediations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an attorney with extensive litigation experience in general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes in a law firm environment.
  • Experience handling litigation cases independently from start to finish.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience overseeing a team of associates.
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
  • Client-focused mindset and a passion for achieving successful outcomes.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in the jurisdiction in which you will practice law.
