About the position

The Bartender at The Ackerly at Timberland is responsible for providing exceptional service by taking orders, preparing, and serving a variety of beverages and light meals to residents and guests. This role emphasizes maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area while ensuring compliance with state liquor regulations. The position is part of a hospitality-focused team dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults through engaging service and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to residents and guests.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections.
• Understand and adhere to state liquor regulations.
• Assist with weekly and monthly inventories.

Requirements

• One year of bartending experience is preferred.
