About the position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Loan Coordinator to join our Loan Administration Team at our Bridgewater Bank. Reporting to the Loan Coordination Lead, in this role, you will provide administrative management of a diverse commercial loan portfolio to ensure accuracy of the closing process, and the post-close file management complies with internal and external policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate origination/modification process for commercial and industrial, professional services industry and SBA Loans.
  • Verify loan approval for accuracy and system capabilities.
  • Review documentation to ensure terms of documents are in accordance with loan approval and following bank policy, lending practices and regulatory statutes. May include communication with outside counsel related to document preparation and other due diligence.
  • Order, review and/or file appropriate reports which may include credit reports, UCC search, title search, title work, flood certificates, appraisals or other due diligence information from various sources and prepare reports and/correspondence as appropriate.
  • Review of organizational documents to identify entity structure and signers.
  • Manage closing process which may include final file review, scheduling closing, disbursing documents, balancing the transaction and initiate funding.
  • Assemble and organize loan files electronically, complete audit checklist and file original documents per bank policies and procedures.
  • Continual engagement in department procedures to ensure most current processes are being followed.
  • Proactively monitor compliance tracking system to ensure lien is recorded timely and financial information required in the loan documentation is received.
  • Manage internal/external requests and financial transactions within the term of the loan documentation, bank policies and procedures. Includes draws, payments, wire transfers, payoffs, collateral releases, renewals and modifications.
  • Primary contact for Lender, clients, and outside agencies by performing a variety of customer service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies and resolving issues.
  • Lead weekly meetings for appointed lending team.
  • Follow department accuracy standards, participate in bank wide Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and exemplify BWB core values.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of commercial loan processing and/or documentation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of rules, regulations and policies relating to loan processing
  • Knowledge of systems such as Fiserv, Salesforce/nCino, Accusystems, DocuSign, M365
