About the position

The Senior Loan IQ Integration Engineer at Mizuho is responsible for leading technical teams in the implementation and integration of LoanIQ systems. This role involves collaborating with application vendors, managing large development teams, and ensuring adherence to security standards while advocating for best practices and enhancements across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the application vendor to successfully address business process needs and enhance large-scale implementations across multiple business units.
• Lead the key technical team, mentoring junior engineers, assigning work, and ensuring excellence.
• Manage development, implementation, and assessment of environments, applications, and platforms.
• Help architect interfaces to various legacy systems.
• Help design enterprise warehouse solution for LoanIQ.
• Conduct code reviews across all levels of engineers.
• Resolve system and client experience impacts.
• Champion enhancements and best practices.
• Partner effectively across the organization, bridging business and technology.
• Uphold proper security standards for code development.
• Create technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts.

Requirements

• 10+ years in IT with broad experience in diverse technology tools supporting complex implementations.
• 4+ years of experience with LoanIQ, including detailed knowledge of its data model.
• Experience in vendor management and management of remote workforce.
• Experience in LoanIQ implementation and migrations.
• Experience managing large development teams with a diverse mix of projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with Databricks or other data warehousing technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with LoanIQ Data Conversion Tool (DCT).
