About the position

The Senior Loan Operations Specialist at First Commonwealth Bank is responsible for providing exceptional client service while managing the risks associated with lending documentation. This role involves processing payments, advances, and rate changes, as well as monitoring Loan Letter of Credit Fees. The specialist will also assist in training new employees and ensure that workflows align with internal controls, fostering communication across departments to enhance cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Provide client service that exceeds expectations in loan operations.
• Process payments, advances, and rate changes for high-value loan relationships.
• Monitor and reconcile Loan Letter of Credit Fees for renewals and terminations.
• Assist in training new employees and develop procedures to maintain internal controls.
• Communicate effectively with all areas related to the lending process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a business environment or three years in a banking environment, including two years in Loan Operations.
• Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills; strong analytical and mathematical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Relevant post-secondary education may substitute for some required experience.
• Experience with First Commonwealth loan-related software such as Silverlake Loans, Laser Pro, JXchange, CCMC, Data Scan, and Epass 360.
