About the position

The Senior Logistics Manager for the F-15 contract at Astrion is responsible for overseeing logistics support for the Air Force Division. This role involves managing logistics elements, ensuring compliance with acquisition regulations, and supporting the development of long-term weapon system supportability strategies. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership to optimize logistics operations and support the F-15 program effectively.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and experience in acquisition logistics philosophy, policies, and procedures for USAF systems and equipment procurement activities.
• Support coordination of all logistics elements including spares, SE, training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning for the F-15 Division.
• Perform analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements.
• Identify and support Source of Repair Assignment (SORA) requirements and actions.
• Compile and work to completion the depot maintenance interservice study.
• Generate and review logistics support documentation including Integrated Logistics Support Plans, LCSPs, Technical Orders, and Technical Manuals.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 5 years in the DoD.
• BA/BS with 10 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 3 years in the DoD.
• 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications, with 5 years in the DoD.
• Current Required Security Clearance: Secret.
• General understanding of current DoD and AF-specific acquisition regulations.
