As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Autonomy Data) at Aurora, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our self-driving technology. Your primary focus will be on developing new autonomy performance metrics and actor models tailored to our diverse use cases. This position requires a deep understanding of machine learning workflows, including data collection, processing, and the necessary infrastructure to support these processes. You will collaborate closely with partners in the Motion Planning and Software Validation teams to gain insights into their specific use cases and constraints, which will inform your projects and technical approaches. Additionally, you will work alongside the Core Simulation team to integrate core functionalities that support our actor models. In this collaborative environment, you will also be responsible for developing tools that facilitate the visualization and extraction of insights from the models you create and run. Your contributions will extend to supporting your team through code reviews and sharing innovative ideas, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
