About the position

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on Data Recommendation at TikTok, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the recommendation algorithms for our video creation tools, including CapCut and Hypic. Our team is dedicated to optimizing recommendation distribution and driving user growth across all CapCut applications. You will be responsible for globally optimizing the core recommendation algorithms and strategies, ensuring that our tools not only meet user expectations but also exceed them by providing a seamless and engaging user experience. Responsibilities

• Globally optimize the core recommendation algorithms and strategies for video creation tools, including CapCut and Hypic.
• Enhance user growth efficiency by optimizing the distribution of content created with CapCut, Hypic, and other similar tools.
• Improve user experiences during creation by leveraging a deep understanding of user behavior and state-of-the-art machine learning technologies.

Requirements

• Strong coding skills with a solid foundation in data structure and algorithms.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in machine learning.
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, with a passion for tackling challenging problems.
• Familiarity with one or more areas in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or data mining.
• Strong practical ability, with papers published in relevant competitions and top academic conferences (such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, etc.) preferred.
