About the position

10Beauty is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Computer Vision/Machine Learning team. This role involves designing and developing advanced machine learning models for complex vision tasks, leading the implementation of these models in cloud environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate them into production systems. The position is crucial for enhancing the company's innovative beauty technology through machine learning and computer vision advancements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop instance, semantic, and 3D segmentation models for complex vision tasks, including surface normal estimation.
• Lead the implementation of machine learning models in cloud environments using AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
• Develop and optimize data processing pipelines for efficient model training and evaluation.
• Implement best practices for model versioning, monitoring, and deployment.
• Conduct experiments to improve model accuracy and performance, utilizing data augmentation, custom loss functions, and advanced architectures.
• Generate and utilize synthetic training data through simulation environments to enhance model robustness and accuracy.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and computer vision.

Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Machine Learning/Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on computer vision applications.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch, with hands-on experience in building deep learning models.
• Strong background in cloud-based machine learning workflows, preferably with AWS.
• Experience with data versioning and model management tools.
• Experience in surface normal estimation and 3D segmentation models.
• Experience in generating synthetic training data using simulation tools and environments.
• Solid understanding of multi-modal data processing and sensor fusion techniques.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
