About the position

GEICO is looking for a senior machine learning engineer to join their AI department, focusing on building GenAI services and systems that integrate complex data ecosystems with AI/ML models. This role involves collaborating with a team of data scientists and ML engineers to enhance operational efficiencies and drive industry innovation.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement AI/ML platforms ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams for seamless integration of AIML systems.
• Establish SDLC and SRE best practices for stable operations of production AI systems.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Translate complex findings into understandable insights for stakeholders.
• Define project roadmaps and lead a small team of ML engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing production-grade data-intensive applications on CPU and GPU infrastructures.
• 4+ years of experience building training, finetuning, and evaluation pipelines for AI/ML models.
• 4+ years of experience with backend data systems components such as search engines, data warehouses, and streaming platforms.
• 4+ years of experience in Python, Java, or equivalent programming languages.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• 3+ years of experience building GenAI services and platforms.
• Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
