About the position

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will work with a large pharmaceutical company's Data Innovation Lab to enhance their internal recommendation engines. The role focuses on developing and testing original machine learning models to improve client offers and discounts through advanced recommendation algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for recommendation systems.
• Analyze user data to identify patterns and trends that can inform model development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate recommendation engines into our platform.
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in machine learning and recommendation algorithms.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing machine learning models, preferably in recommendation systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and hybrid recommendation techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
