FL105 is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to develop and apply machine learning (ML) techniques to create foundational psychological tools. This role is ideal for individuals with broad expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and computational sciences who are eager to join a dynamic and innovative environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pioneer the next frontier of innovation, application, and human-computer interactions enabled by generative models. At FL105, you will collaborate openly with Pioneering Intelligence, the AI/ML research arm of Flagship Pioneering, and work alongside world-class machine learning scientists and engineers engaged in cutting-edge AI research, particularly in generative modeling and large language models. In this position, you will be responsible for developing advanced ML tools that capture and recapitulate psychological phenomena, prototyping LLM-based multi-agent systems with coordinated behavior, and creating an optimized data pipeline to facilitate development, scalability, and integration with user-facing products. You will also experiment with techniques to enhance the performance of the platform, collaborate closely with team members to improve platform KPIs, and work with software developers to integrate the platform with user-facing products. Effective communication of findings to a multi-disciplinary audience will also be a key aspect of this role.
