About the position

The Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer - Vice President role within the Consumer & Community Banking division at JPMorgan Chase involves building and maintaining robust pipelines for model training, serving, and monitoring in a controlled environment. This position focuses on leveraging advanced machine learning architectures to enhance personalized banking experiences across various channels, ensuring high throughput and low latency applications deployed in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain infrastructure for model development that integrates with the enterprise data ecosystem.
• Build, deploy, and maintain pipelines for feature generation for model training and inference.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure for batch and real-time model serving at scale.
• Identify, deploy, and maintain model monitoring and observability tools.
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure for hyperparameter tuning and model interpretability.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to define scalable technical solutions.
• Design extensible solutions and coach team members.
• Ensure compliance with standards, SLAs, and business requirements.
• Anticipate broader team needs and manage dependencies.
• Identify and mitigate issues while escalating as necessary.
• Maintain high operational excellence standards for production systems.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field
• 5+ years of applied experience in machine learning operations
• Experience in model training, building, deployment, and execution.
