About The Position
As a Lead Machine Learning Operations Engineer / Lead MLOps Engineer on our team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of machine learning models that drive our business forward. You will be responsible for building, evaluating, scaling, and deploying machine learning pipelines, ensuring that they are efficient, reliable, and scalable. Your expertise in Python and familiarity with the AWS ecosystem will be crucial as you work to implement best practices in model selection, validation, and performance assessment. You will also be tasked with monitoring model performance, detecting data drift, and automating model deployment processes to ensure that our machine learning systems are always up to date and performing optimally. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement complex workflows and data pipelines using tools like Airflow. Your experience with orchestrating these workflows will be essential in ensuring that our data is processed efficiently and that our machine learning models are trained on high-quality data. You will also be responsible for developing data APIs and microservices that integrate our machine learning systems with other applications, enabling seamless data flow and real-time insights. As a senior member of the team, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall strategy of our machine learning initiatives. Your knowledge of large language models and generative AI modalities will be valuable as we explore new applications of machine learning in our business. You will also be involved in assessing and implementing new data tools to enhance our machine learning stack, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of technology in this rapidly evolving field.
