About the position

The Building Maintenance III position at Radisson involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing various building systems and components to ensure guest comfort and safety. The role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance tasks across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, with a focus on quality repairs and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair ceiling tile and grid, floor tile, doors, keys, locks, plumbing, electrical and other related repairs in public and guest areas and repairs issued through work orders.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs in guest rooms and public space.
• Make plumbing and HVAC repairs in guestrooms and public space.
• Construct and maintain partition walls and drapes found in guestrooms and stage drapes in public space.
• Take care of fountains and swimming pools, including taking pool readings.
• Make roof and skylight repairs.
• Maintain all wood items.
• Maintain all public and back of the house restroom plumbing, grout, marble repair, ceramic tile, partitions, and stall doors.
• Maintain and repair interior and exterior brick and brick pavers, concrete, fireplace brick and stone, outside walks, curbing, and asphalt.
• Exercise knowledge of occupational hazards, right-to-know law (MSDS), and safety precautions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum four years experience in building trades.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and principles used in a variety of construction and maintenance repairs.
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot.
• Skilled in operation of related tools and equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
