Growth in our digital advertising business is key to Walmart's overall growth strategy. Walmart Connect is seeking a Senior Manager, Analytical Lead, Media Insights. Reporting to a Team Lead overseeing a sales Pod of a product category, also known as a Strategic Business Unit (SBU), you will bring the analytical rigor, responsiveness, and creativity required to support WMC's market leading advertising measurement and insights. As an individual contributor, you will create market facing insights to help top tier advertisers understand media performance, optimize strategy, and generate incremental investment. The Senior Manager will be asked to provide leadership and instruction to a smaller subset of talented analytics professionals working on a single advertisers account of much larger scale in terms of investment with WMC. The individual needs to be analytical and solution-driven with the ability to partner with the larger Strategic Insights & Media Analytics team as well as the Sales & Client Service teams to effectively communicate complex media and measurement insights internally and externally. You will play a critical role in analyzing customer behavior, measurement, and performance data across various channels. You will be responsible for leveraging data-driven insights to analyze client retail media strategy and drive value from long-term investment with Walmart Connect as a trusted strategic consultant and partner for our advertising partners.

Responsibilities

  • Extract and visualize insights from complex data to deliver actionable recommendations for Walmart Connect's largest clients.
  • Translate multifaceted datasets into client-centric insights, aligning supplier strategies with emerging retail and media industry trends.
  • Lead and execute large-scale analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource allocation while driving innovative approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Spearhead innovation in analytical methodologies, leveraging SQL, Python, and/or R as well as advanced visualization tools to streamline processes and elevate insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 6 years' experience in data analytics or related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business insights, ideally within the digital or retail media ecosystem.
  • 2+ years working in the retail, consumer goods or retail media industries.
  • Significant expertise in SQL, Python, and advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data storytelling and translating complex datasets into strategic client recommendations.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects and engaging directly with Fortune 500 clients or equivalent.
  • Strong collaborative skills with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
