About the position

The Senior Manager role at Citi's Internal Audit Chief Operating Office is a senior management position responsible for overseeing a critical unit within the organization. This role involves managing the global audit approach, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory expectations, and leveraging audit expertise to cover critical risks within the audit plan. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for leading a team of Internal Audit professionals and supporting strategic projects that enhance the global department's effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Redesign and oversee the global risk assessment calibration process for audit entities.
• Provide subject matter expertise for audit practices and maintain a strong understanding of IA Methodology.
• Partner with IA Leadership Team and other stakeholders to produce a risk-focused annual audit plan.
• Support strategic projects that enable the global department.
• Oversee changes to the audit universe and assess their impact on the audit plan.
• Develop and oversee semi-annual controls for critical element mapping for the audit universe globally.
• Leverage audit skills to ensure audit coverage strategies articulate critical risks to Citi.
• Prepare executive, regulatory, and board reporting in adherence to data management expectations.
• Manage a team of Internal Audit professionals, including recruitment and professional development.

Requirements

• Experience within audit delivery, including conducting audits and managing audit entities.
• Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred.
• Demonstrated successful experience in business, functional, and people management.
• Experience providing timely, high-quality audit deliverables for senior management under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high-quality deliverables according to strict timetables.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
