About the position

The Senior Manager, B2B Retention Marketing at Udemy is responsible for managing the customer lifecycle of the organizational buyer, focusing on improving learner engagement through effective marketing strategies. This role involves leading a team of B2B marketers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing comprehensive strategies to drive product adoption and retention among B2B customers. The position requires a strategic thinker who can leverage customer insights to influence product development and enhance the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and manage a small team of B2B marketers to deliver against engagement goals, improving retention and increasing customer lifetime value.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders, including marketing, customer success, and product to ensure alignment for initiatives that touch the org buyer experience.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy to increase product adoption, seat assignments, and ultimately, learner engagement.
  • Define, track, and measure KPIs, leverage data insights & trends to optimize marketing programs that deliver upon overall company goals.
  • Partner with the Demand Gen team to develop content that provides value to our customers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in B2B lifecycle or customer marketing, with 4+ years managing high performing teams.
  • Results-oriented with an exceptional track record of developing successful B2B retention marketing programs.
  • Strong analytical skills; able to create strategies based on data and customer insights.
  • Highly motivated, capable of working independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships and drive consensus on initiatives.
  • Passion for the customer experience, developing a deep understanding of customer challenges and needs.

  • Familiarity with CRM technology including Marketing Automation platforms and CRM tools.
