About the position

The Senior Manager, Brand & Content Marketing at Capital One Software will lead and scale the brand marketing and full-funnel B2B content program. This role focuses on developing compelling content that resonates with target personas, enhances brand visibility, and drives customer engagement throughout the lifecycle. The ideal candidate will simplify complex topics and have a strong background in content marketing, creative production, and brand management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a holistic, integrated content strategy across channels and mediums that drives the customer lifecycle from awareness to retention.
  • Lead a team in day-to-day execution of the content strategy, partnering with stakeholders to create clear and compelling content.
  • Produce high-quality long and short-form content including white papers, eBooks, blogs, email newsletters, case studies, web copy, landing pages, and videos, while championing SEO best practices.
  • Partner with internal and external creative teams on creative strategy, ensuring adherence to brand voice and content guidelines.
  • Act as liaison to Capital One Software website, social, and paid media teams, advising on overall content strategy for the channel.
  • Build a content library and establish scalable processes for agile content creation.
  • Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams to understand the target audience and their needs throughout the buyer journey.
  • Work with Ops teams to continuously measure and improve content performance and channel KPIs.
  • Lead A/B testing agenda of content to optimize results and evolve the program.
  • Define and influence enterprise-wide B2B product/software content marketing agenda.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in content or creative strategy, development, or production.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • People leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 7 or more years of experience in content or creative strategy, development, or production.
  • Experience creating impactful marketing content, including blogs and white papers.
  • Experience developing B2B/SaaS content for the entire marketing funnel with proven results.
  • Experience marketing technical products to technical buyers.
