About the position

The Senior Manager, Business Consulting-Value Based Care Operations at CVS Health is responsible for leading a team to support Value Based Care operations and manage third-party relationships. This role focuses on developing enterprise-wide solutions to address business challenges, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, and enhancing organizational effectiveness. The position requires collaboration across various departments to optimize business processes and improve service delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor operations and prepare roadmap updates, including risks with mitigation plans on a quarterly basis.
  • Direct day-to-day complex business consultation operations to support Value Based Care and third-party relationships.
  • Assist with alignment of providers to appropriate supplemental data submission methods.
  • Administer VBC operational processes for researching, collecting, analyzing, and compiling data for business consulting reports.
  • Ensure business alignment with supporting business units such as HEDIS, Stars, and Revenue Integrity.
  • Review files, reports, and financial records, managing departmental record retention.
  • Develop and implement high customer service standards by addressing internal and external inquiries.
  • Collaborate with clients and senior management regarding organizational goals and objectives.
  • Advise internal and external contacts ensuring concise communication with stakeholders.
  • Deliver advice to managers on current business trends and best practices, preparing analysis for senior management.
  • Authorize performance appraisals within the business consulting department.
  • Establish and implement strategic review processes for continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Develop and deliver required analysis, reporting, and presentation materials.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize business intelligence to drive strategic objectives.
  • Facilitate internal and external networks for data gathering and best practice identification.
  • Leverage networking to drive optimal initiative results and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, business processes, and/or consulting.
  • Provider experience and knowledge.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Adept at execution and delivery skills.
  • Adept at business intelligence.
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork.
  • Mastery of problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Mastery of growth mindset skills.
