About the position

The Senior Manager, Business Operations for AdsWizz at SiriusXM is responsible for supporting revenue analytics and business planning for the AdsWizz platform. This role involves acting as a consultative partner to executives, driving revenue through analytics, forecasting, and strategic recommendations. The position requires a dynamic team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on revenue growth and strategy for a rapidly growing media property.

Responsibilities

  • Support the AdsWizz team with general business analysis for the core platform business including historical account spending and market sizing.
  • Conduct analyses regarding the AdsWizz Marketplace and resellers to inform strategy.
  • Develop new operational KPIs and identify root causes for revenue fluctuations.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key sales stakeholders to focus on incremental revenue opportunities.
  • Support the development of monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting formats, processes, and systems.
  • Drive the preparation of annual revenue targets and specific account planning.
  • Help inform tiering and segmentation for AdsWizz customers and define SLAs as needed.
  • Translate cross-platform and multi-national revenue performance to an executive audience.
  • Develop detailed compensation plans at an individual seller level and collaborate with the compensation team.
  • Work with the business development team on strategic account reviews to identify revenue growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with finance, operations, HR, and legal stakeholders.
  • Stay current with media, technology, and competitive trends in digital advertising.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of business strategy, analytics, planning or related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in digital media and SAAS platforms, especially in the ad tech sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex issues and make recommendations.
  • Proven ability to persuade and build consensus with all levels of management.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead projects with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time, and people management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence decision making.
  • Passion for digital media and consumer internet with strong intellectual curiosity.
  • Superior Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills, or equivalent Google suite skills.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce and data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
  • Familiarity with SQL preferred.
  • Must have legal right to work in the US.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the ad tech sector (e.g., ad server, DSP, SSP, Data Provider, CRM).
  • Familiarity with SQL.
