The Senior Manager of Business Operations & Analytics at Shiseido is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the sales financial expense lines across all divisions within Shiseido Americas. This position requires effective communication and collaboration with executive leadership, field sales, marketing, planning, and finance departments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks associated with key expense lines. The role emphasizes the importance of building and maintaining respectful, productive, cross-functional relationships, reinforcing the Sales Administration's role in operational and analytical effectiveness. In this role, the Senior Manager will oversee key expense lines, including Demo, Freelance, and COOP Advertising, which total approximately $46 million. The individual will be tasked with designing, building, deploying, and maintaining Excel framework files that accurately allocate, track, monitor, and communicate spending against budget risks and opportunities. Monthly CEP reviews will be conducted with leadership teams to highlight potential opportunities and risks that could impact net profit for the Sales Administration Center (SAC). The Senior Manager will also work closely with the Sell In VP, Directors, and Key Account Executives to manage COOP expenditures, ensuring that all budget planning is accurate and up-to-date. Additionally, the Senior Manager will conduct quarterly presentations to the HERMÈS executive team to ensure alignment and approval on contractual brand matters. The role also involves evaluating staffing efficiency and salary/commission payments, owning field mapping software for call cycle planning, and participating in confidential organizational plans. Mentorship and development of one direct report will be a key responsibility, focusing on their personal and professional growth. The position also includes supporting various initiatives such as the FY2023 IT Initiative for Demo Staffing Management, maintaining the integrity of door management and brand distribution, and assisting with activity tracking and ROI assessment for Education & Events. The Senior Manager will attend regional commercial sales meetings and conduct quarterly store visits as needed, while also managing special projects for senior management.
