About the position

The Senior Manager, Business Operations - eComm Strategy & Governance role will play an integral part in helping support and facilitate ways of working across the broader Walmart US eCommerce organization. This position leverages exceptional project management, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment, clarity, and transparency across various teams within the organization. This role requires a strong analytical background and the ability to work cross-functionally, detecting problems and finding solutions effectively. The candidate should possess a customer-focused mindset and be adept at anticipating roadblocks that may arise during project execution. In this position, you will act as a Trusted Advisor, developing strong and trusting relationships with internal teams. You will drive informed decision-making and ensure the resolution of critical issues by partnering with business teams. Additionally, you will educate the leadership team through enhanced data analysis and insights, supporting the transformation journey by analyzing, proposing, and presenting solutions and process improvements. You will also be involved in the development of analytical frameworks and KPIs to measure business performance, anticipating outcomes of strategic initiatives for highly complex business areas. The role requires exceptional planning and management of complex projects, combining processes, organizational change, and technology workstreams. The ideal candidate will have highly polished written and oral communication skills, capable of developing executive-level presentations and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related area.
  • 5 years' experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, or related area.
  • 7 years' experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, or related area.
  • 2 years' supervisory experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area.
  • Experience in ECommerce Merchandising, Site Operations, Business Management, or related area.
