The Enterprise Change Management team at Blue Shield of California is dedicated to orchestrating priority change initiatives that have a significant impact across the organization. The Senior Manager, Change Management for Strategic Initiatives will play a pivotal role in this effort, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Change Management and Employee Engagement. This position is designed for a leader who can develop and implement large-scale change strategies that align with fundamentally new ways of working throughout the enterprise. The initiatives led by this role will often have enterprise-wide implications, including the introduction of new leadership mindsets, transformative talent practices, and innovative approaches to the future of work, all aimed at fulfilling Blue Shield's business and people priorities. In this capacity, the Senior Manager will be responsible for client coverage across various parts of the organization, acting as a strategic coach and advisor to leaders at the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Vice President (VP) levels. This role will require close collaboration with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), communications teams, enterprise learning, and other stakeholders to enhance capabilities across the organization. The Senior Manager will lead the change strategy for multiple strategic priorities, which may include cross-business integration, managing functional complexity, and addressing substantial and pervasive changes within the organization. Additionally, the Senior Manager will own the overall development of change capability for a segment of the enterprise, establishing standards for change management at Blue Shield of California. This will involve leveraging both internal and external best practices, contributing to lessons learned, and engaging with the broader community of change practitioners. The role will also require setting priorities, establishing goals, and coaching change management talent to amplify and accelerate the organization's ability to achieve desired business and people outcomes. By fostering organizational agility, the Senior Manager will help the enterprise adapt more readily to a continually changing environment.
