About the position

The Senior Manager, Channel Operations at Digital Realty is a pivotal role focused on enhancing systems and processes to support the company's digital transformation and channel sales strategy. This position is designed for an experienced professional who will collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize revenue operations through alliances and indirect channels, ensuring effective communication and alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Global SVP of Channel and Alliance to provide analysis for business decisions and planning.
  • Develop reporting with the business intelligence team to measure ROI and effectiveness of channel programs.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and scorecards to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Manage payment processes for each partner type and own the commission plan.
  • Identify potential partners for Channel and Alliances and assist in the registration process.
  • Calculate and issue monthly statements to partners, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Serve as the primary contact for partner inquiries regarding distributions.
  • Monitor and reconcile partner capital accounts with the finance team.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to partner compensation.
  • Drive process improvements using technology to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain policies and procedures to foster alignment with direct sales teams.
  • Collaborate with Sales Process Management and IT to align systems with reporting needs.
  • Capture feedback on knowledge gaps and develop training content to address these gaps.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for process flows and handoffs in IT projects.
  • Provide system functionality feedback for enhancements and improvements.
  • Develop relationships with internal business teams to ensure prioritization of Channel and Alliances.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree with 5-7 years of relevant work experience in channel operations, sales operations, or business analytics.
  • Expert proficiency with MS Excel and MS Access, and comfort with large data sets.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is required.
  • Nice-to-have knowledge of Oracle CPQ, Clari, and Anaplan.
  • Experience with a Data Visualization Platform (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to apply theoretical concepts to real business problems.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • High degree of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, global environment and accommodate time zone differences.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ownership of follow-through to completion.
  • Experience managing projects and providing leadership to develop internal agreements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive, result-oriented attitude.
  • Fluency in Business-level English; other European languages are an advantage.

Nice-to-haves
