About the position

The Senior Manager of CIO Communications at Hilton is responsible for enhancing the company's reputation and engaging Team Members by developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role focuses on promoting Hilton's technology strategy and achievements, while also collaborating with the PR team to elevate Hilton's external positioning as a leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an annual communications plan in partnership with the CIO and Technology Leadership Team.
  • Build internal communications, including all CIO materials, with a focus on narrative development and presentation design.
  • Coordinate leader- and Team-Member-focused engagements.
  • Partner with Hilton's PR team on media interviews, speaking engagements, and social media.
  • Provide leader communications support for Hilton engagements related to technology.
  • Identify storytelling opportunities and create messaging that enhances the reputation of the Technology organization.
  • Integrate the CIO's perspective in change management plans and communications for major Technology initiatives.
  • Assist the CIO at internal and external events by developing remarks, presentations, and briefing materials.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of work experience in strategic communications, organizational communications, employee engagement, visual design and presentation development, or a related field.
  • Experience working within technology organizations and managing teams from different disciplines.
  • Experience converting technical language into clear and understandable messaging.
  • Experience working with a larger global organization, strategic consulting firm, or a mid-to-large communications, PR, or marketing agency.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA/BS bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
  • Change Management Certification.
