About the position

As a Senior Manager, CMO Communications, you will play a pivotal role in protecting and elevating Hilton's reputation while driving brand and consumer communications. Your primary responsibility will be to design and execute an internal communications strategy for Hilton's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), working closely with the Consumer PR team to ensure effective external positioning. This role requires you to support the CMO in articulating the Marketing & Loyalty strategy and performance, energizing Team Members, and leading the marketing organization to world-class standards. You will report directly to the Senior Director of Executive Communications, making your contributions vital to the overall success of Hilton's marketing initiatives. In this position, you will develop and deliver an annual communications plan that aligns with the CMO's vision and goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include crafting impactful narratives and visual presentations for internal communications, coordinating engagements and meetings for senior leaders and Team Members, and partnering with external PR agencies to manage media relations and social media content. You will also provide on-site support for the CMO during internal and external appearances, ensuring that all logistics and briefing materials are meticulously organized. Your role will require you to represent the CMO's interests in various forums, ensuring that communications guidance is effectively integrated into messaging and event strategies. You will collaborate with various teams within the Marketing & Loyalty division and the broader Global Brands and Commercial Services organization, fostering strong relationships to deliver the CMO's communications plan effectively. This position is crucial for maintaining Hilton's reputation and ensuring that all communications reflect the company's values and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an annual communications plan in partnership with the CMO.
  • Execute internal communications, including crafting CMO remarks and materials.
  • Coordinate senior leader and Team Member-focused engagements and meetings.
  • Partner with external PR agencies and Hilton's internal PR team on media relations and social media content.
  • Support the CMO at internal and external appearances, both live and virtual.
  • Represent the CMO's interests in forums requiring communications guidance.
  • Develop relationships within Marketing & Loyalty and other departments to ensure effective communication.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years of work experience in strategic communications, organizational communications, employee engagement, visual design and presentation development, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working within marketing organizations and managing and/or leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with a larger global organization, strategic consulting firm, and/or a mid-to-large-size communications, PR, or marketing agency.
  • Experience advising and executing visual and/or graphic design components.

Nice-to-haves

  • BA/BS bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
