About the position

The Senior Manager, Chief of Staff is a pivotal role that supports senior leadership in executing strategic initiatives while ensuring operational excellence. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies in four key areas: Strategy, Operational Excellence, Communications, and Organizational Capability. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, all while enhancing the work environment for engineers and advancing the organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Card Tech CoS and teams to deliver on the roadmap, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
  • Drive innovation in process and execution across the portfolio.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and materials.
  • Lead special projects autonomously and in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Prioritize and focus leaders on key areas such as people strategy and business operations.
  • Aid the CoS in strategic planning and uncovering critical efficiencies.
  • Understand and articulate the leader's intent and vision, driving accountability within the team.
  • Align operations with strategy across all business units and functions.
  • Influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Develop relationships within the team to act as a helpful sounding board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management, Agile Delivery, or as a Team Lead
  • At least 3 years of experience working with senior stakeholders across different business functions
  • At least 3 years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous Chief of Staff experience
  • Experience working closely with executives
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
  • 3+ years of experience managing diverse operational functions
  • 2+ years of experience in IT development or support
  • 3+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
  • 4+ years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences
