About the position

The Senior Manager of Gastroenterology Clinic Operations is a pivotal leader within the Swedish Medical Group, responsible for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to ensure cost-effective and high-quality operations across multiple Gastroenterology clinics. This role involves overseeing six GI clinics, five endoscopy suites, and a large team of clinicians and caregivers, while fostering relationships and partnerships within the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of 6 GI clinics and 5 endoscopy suites.
  • Manage a team of 4 supervisors, 4 administrative coordinators, 60 clinicians, and over 100 caregivers.
  • Build relationships and trust quickly with team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain cross-functional partnerships with primary care clinics and hospitals.
  • Facilitate process implementation for improving clinic operations.
  • Advocate for the team and facilities to ensure quality care.
  • Communicate effectively with various levels of staff, from schedulers to executive medical directors.
  • Utilize technology and adaptability to enhance clinic operations.
  • Implement program management strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct routine visits to various Swedish Medical Group clinics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or business.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare management, physician practice management, or clinical operations; or 9 years of equivalent work experience including management experience.
  • Demonstrated progression into increasingly responsible leadership/management roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous multi-specialty clinic management experience.
