About the position

The Senior Manager of Gastroenterology Clinic Operations is a key leader within the Swedish Medical Group, responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple Gastroenterology clinics and endoscopy suites. This role focuses on developing and implementing management and patient care systems to ensure cost-effective and high-quality operations. The manager will lead a team of supervisors, administrative coordinators, clinicians, and caregivers, fostering relationships and partnerships across the healthcare system to enhance clinic performance and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of 6 GI clinics and 5 endoscopy suites.
• Manage a team of 4 supervisors, 4 administrative coordinators, 60 clinicians, and over 100 caregivers.
• Facilitate process implementation for improving clinic operations.
• Build relationships and maintain partnerships with primary care clinics and hospitals.
• Advocate for team and facilities to ensure quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including schedulers and executive medical directors.
• Conduct routine visits to multiple Swedish Medical Group clinics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or business.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare management, physician practice management, or clinical operations; or 9 years of equivalent work experience including management experience.
• Demonstrated progression into increasingly responsible leadership/management roles.
