About the position

The Senior Manager of Gastroenterology Clinic Operations is a pivotal leader within the Swedish Medical Group, responsible for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to ensure cost-effective and high-quality operations across multiple Gastroenterology clinics. This role involves overseeing six GI clinics, five endoscopy suites, and a large team of clinicians and caregivers, while fostering relationships and partnerships within the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of 6 GI clinics and 5 endoscopy suites.
• Manage a team of 4 supervisors, 4 administrative coordinators, and 60 clinicians.
• Facilitate process implementation for improving clinic operations.
• Build relationships and maintain partnerships with primary care clinics and hospitals.
• Advocate for team and facilities to ensure quality patient care.
• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including executive medical directors.
• Implement management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or business.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare management, physician practice management, or clinical operations.
• Demonstrated progression into increasingly responsible leadership/management roles.

• Previous multi-specialty clinic management experience.
