About the position

The Senior Manager - Cloud Architecture role at Baringa involves leading the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions to address complex data challenges for clients across various industries. This position emphasizes collaboration with clients to translate their business requirements into scalable and secure cloud architectures, while also focusing on business development and team growth. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and mentoring to guide junior team members and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect cloud-based solutions that align with clients' needs, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Architect distributed and scalable platforms using cloud-native services.
  • Design hybrid cloud solutions for client workloads and modern applications leveraging serverless computing or microservices architecture.
  • Identify risks and mitigations for complex programs and assist clients in transitioning to modern cloud infrastructures.
  • Develop solution architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and documentation for proposed solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams during implementation and review technical designs.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on cloud technologies and best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in professional services/consulting.
  • Preferably cloud certified architect with knowledge of major public cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in designing and architecting cloud-based solutions that ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Ability to own and run complex client engagements and interact with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of different technology stacks, including legacy and modern stacks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) approaches for efficient software delivery.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices related to cloud computing and data management.

  • Salary Range: $196,000 - $235,000
