About the position

The Senior Manager, Creative Services at Adtalem Global Education is a pivotal role responsible for leading the creative strategy and developing innovative, cross-channel creative solutions that align with the company's goals. This role involves translating abstract concepts into actionable design strategies, ensuring that the brand's vision is brought to life through high-quality creative outputs. In this position, the Senior Manager will report to the Director of Corporate Communications & Strategic Initiatives and will work closely with functional leaders across the Global Communications team. The role includes leading and inspiring a team of creatives to enhance the company's profile, build stakeholder engagement, and influence customer behavior. Responsibilities encompass overseeing creative brand photography, graphic design, and audio/video production, ensuring that all creative assets meet the highest standards of quality and innovation. The Senior Manager will execute the creative vision and strategy, lead the direction and concepting of visual campaigns across various platforms, and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional departments, directing creative agencies, and continually refreshing creative strategies to optimize campaign outcomes. The position requires a strong ability to manage multiple projects from concept through activation while complying with all company policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the creative vision and strategy in alignment with the company's goals
  • Lead the creative direction and concepting of visual campaigns in all platforms including linear, digital, social, mobile, video, and live events
  • Lead the teams that produce all creative assets including graphic design, and video production/editing
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and provide creative direction to the team
  • Ensure all creative outputs meet the highest standards of quality and innovation
  • Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of all creative projects
  • Manage project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments and lead and develop a creative team
  • Translating Global Communications objectives into clear creative strategies
  • Direct the activities of creative agencies to align with enterprise objectives, strategies and scope of work
  • Responsible for Adtalem brand and creative standards
  • Responsible to continually refreshing creative to optimize campaign outcomes
  • Responsible for audio/video production
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from concept through activation
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, creative design, communications, or brand management; master's degree preferred
  • 8-10 years' experience in creative production, branding, or marketing including 2-3 years minimum leadership/management experience
  • Extensive digital experience across varied channels including rich media
  • A passionate, energetic, creative visionary
  • Must be able to collaborate with a variety of colleagues across the organization
  • Proven success managing creative teams & agencies
  • Strong organizational, logistical and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences and constituencies
  • Demonstrated strategic and critical thinking ability
  • Must possess exceptional communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong management, coaching and leadership skills
  • Ability to inspire, motivate a team to accomplish goals
