About the position

The Senior Manager, Consumer Growth Marketing is responsible for overseeing Roon's growth marketing strategy, execution, and reporting across various marketing channels. This role involves managing the brand strategy, developing digital marketing plans, and enhancing e-commerce activities to drive online sales and improve customer experience. The position offers autonomy in budget management, program effectiveness reporting, and leading cross-functional teams, while ensuring a consistent flow of growth-driven activities and performance oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Conceive and execute new growth marketing plans to unlock business value from untapped customer segments.
  • Contribute to the strategy and execution vision for marketing and brand communications across all growth channels.
  • Manage and mentor a resource-efficient team focused on content development and marketing operations.
  • Collaborate with Product, OEM Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Technical Support to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Support the development and execution of brand strategy through effective campaigns at each stage of the customer lifecycle.
  • Define and evolve positioning and messaging strategies to resonate with prospects and customers.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital go-to-market strategy leveraging various digital channels.
  • Monitor analytics and report outcomes to leadership, applying data to improve marketing efforts.
  • Leverage market insights to recommend strategic ways to measure performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead reporting of marketing initiatives to optimize awareness and usage drivers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in global brand marketing, growth marketing, or related disciplines for internet and/or consumer technology businesses.
  • At least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to achieve growth goals through marketing initiatives.
  • Experience with B2C subscription-based business models (SaaS) and e-commerce customer lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in analyzing digital metrics and using insights to drive engagement.
  • Experience in developing compelling consumer communication and creative that drives user engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and work across teams for seamless program launches.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the digital music streaming, subscription entertainment, and/or consumer technology sectors.
  • Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brand marketing experience.
  • Experience working with ad tech, media, and creative agencies.
  • A bias towards automation and tech-enabled marketing workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
