About the position

As a Senior Manager at DoorDash, you will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at re-engaging lapsed customers and enhancing the affordability of the platform. This role combines product and growth marketing, focusing on innovative campaigns that drive customer loyalty and long-term engagement. You will work cross-functionally to align marketing efforts with product and operational strategies, ensuring a customer-centric approach to marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as a general manager within marketing, setting the vision, goals, and strategies across resurrection and affordability work streams.
  • Work on both 0 to 1 bets and large initiatives to drive impact at scale.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, understanding their pain points and serving as an expert on churned audiences.
  • Develop the consumer re-engagement strategy, focusing on goals, category focus, and core value proposition.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Brand, Creative, Retention, and Performance Marketing teams to implement strategies and campaigns.
  • Interface with product, strategy, operations, analytics, and finance to develop integrated strategies and report on key initiatives.
  • Track primary metrics across functions and report progress to the organization and senior leaders.
  • Stay current on marketing best practices, cultural trends, and the competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of professional experience in marketing in a corporate or startup environment.
  • Fluency across the marketing mix and understanding of marketing principles across the funnel.
  • Ability to connect with people, build relationships, and influence without authority.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to find trends in data and gather audience-first insights.
  • Creative and collaborative inclination, with a passion for solving challenging problems.
  • Strong bias for action, being dependable, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
  • Proven track record of driving and measuring business success through marketing efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience.
