About the position

The Senior Manager, Content Marketing at Dashlane is responsible for leading the content strategy and execution in a hybrid role based in the NYC office. This position focuses on overseeing the development, distribution, and performance of content that aligns with the brand voice and business objectives, ensuring a data-driven approach to storytelling and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive persona-based content strategy that aligns with the buyer's journey and Dashlane's overall marketing and business goals.
  • Oversee the editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with thought leadership, campaigns, marketing moments, product launches, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Lead a team of content strategists and writers including external freelancers, content partners, and agencies as needed.
  • Develop strategy and KPIs for the Dashlane blog, manage execution and measurement, driving consistent engaging content that supports company priorities.
  • Drive the strategy, topics, and support content development to expand and refine the B2B Webinar program.
  • Support the development of customer-facing sales enablement content.
  • Analyze content performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and improve ROI.
  • Develop and manage the content budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, PR, and Growth Marketing, to ensure content meets the needs of all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in content creation, strategy, and management in B2B Tech.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement, thought leadership, and achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of brand voice.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to content optimization and performance analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to document and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with SEO requirements, ensuring all content is aligned with SEO strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong preference for experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing content for B2B cybersecurity technical buying personas, with a deep understanding of the industry's specific requirements.
