About the position

The Senior Manager, Content Marketing at Earnest is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's mission and key performance indicators. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure cohesive messaging, overseeing the creation of engaging content across multiple formats, and optimizing content for SEO and brand awareness. The position aims to drive organic growth and enhance brand identity through strategic content initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Earnest's mission and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, brand, design, and PR teams to ensure cohesive messaging across platforms.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content across formats such as blog articles, case studies, social media, and video.
  • Manage a team of freelance writers and partner with designers to bring content to life across channels.
  • Optimize content for SEO, organic growth, and brand awareness, while refining strategies based on performance metrics.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in content marketing, with a focus on strategy and execution.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a proven track record of published work.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Ability to distill complex topics into approachable, engaging content for a consumer audience.
  • Experience working with designers to create content that is visually compelling and aligned with brand standards.
  • Demonstrated success in applying data to improve content performance.
  • Social media experience, including managing and creating posts for platforms, in collaboration with the Communications team.
