As a Senior Manager, Content Writer at Circle, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating content that resonates with a diverse audience, ranging from large enterprises to crypto-native developers, founders, traders, regulators, and everyday users of digital currency. Your expertise in writing, storytelling, research, project management, and SEO will be essential, along with a solid understanding of financial technology, digital currencies, and blockchain. In this position, you will be responsible for producing various types of content, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, email newsletters, and social media copy, ensuring alignment with Circle's product messaging, company narrative, and brand voice. You will translate product value propositions into clear and compelling content that drives awareness and action, while also organizing data and research into engaging narratives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to developing and optimizing content briefs, and you will serve as an editor to maintain consistency across all Circle content. Additionally, you will manage a content roadmap and editorial calendar, spearhead creative content initiatives, and provide guidance to colleagues throughout the content development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Author blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, email newsletters, social copy, and more, ensuring all content aligns with Circle's product messaging, company narrative, and brand voice.
  • Translate product value propositions and messaging into clear and compelling content that drives awareness and action.
  • Understand and organize data, research, and information provided by stakeholders, structuring it into a compelling story.
  • Research subject matters related to requests and provide findings to ensure deliverables are impactful, relevant, and effective in communication.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and optimize content briefs, ensuring clarity on audience, narrative, and desired outcomes prior to writing.
  • Serve as an editor across the team, supporting the cross-functional content review process and ensuring that the company narrative is consistent throughout all Circle content.
  • Support the maintenance of a content roadmap and editorial calendar.
  • Originate and spearhead creative content initiatives across mediums and channels to deliver significant impact on business objectives.
  • Act as a primary point of contact, providing guidance, support, and consultation to colleagues at all levels throughout the content development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in journalism, SEO, content writing, Web3 marketing, or B2B consumer finance.
  • Expertise in writing with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of finance, Web3, and digital currencies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively to gather necessary inputs for high-quality work.
  • Self-starter with a knack for driving clarity around narrative, goals, and timelines in unstructured environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Apple MacOS, GSuite, Hubspot, and analytics tools.

Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $160,000 - $207,500
  • Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%
