About the position

The Senior Manager, Creative Direction at L'Oreal USA is responsible for managing the execution and delivery of all creative assets to support the brands within the Consumer Product Division (CPD) for the e-retail channel. This role requires strong design capabilities and a deep understanding of digital channels to visually bring brands to life. The Senior Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to produce high volumes of digital content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives while driving measurable business results.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-departments to develop best-in-class digital content that meets creative and strategic criteria.
  • Execute full funnel digital creative content focused on eCommerce performance and brand loyalty.
  • Liaise with various brand partners and Content Factory Strategy & Production Leads as a brand steward.
  • Maintain consistency and elevate brand aesthetics across multiple categories including cosmetics, skincare, haircare, and hair color.
  • Ensure creative excellence and adherence to brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Understand and apply the latest e-retail platforms and industry trends.
  • Communicate digital creative processes in brand marketing meetings with strong presentation skills.
  • Create a high volume of assets across all channels including digital ads, web assets, and social media.
  • Project manage all creative requests from brief through to execution.
  • Manage in-house product shoots and assist with post-production processes.

Requirements

  • College Degree
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in a creative environment, particularly in graphic design and digital asset development for eCommerce strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience in the beauty or CPG brand industry is a strong plus.
  • Must have a portfolio demonstrating relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce, visual storytelling, and marketing.
  • Experience leading a team with art direction for photo and video production.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Bridge.
  • Ability to influence design talent to develop on-brand assets.
  • Mastery of industry and digital best practices and knowledge of creative trends.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
