About the position

The Senior Art Director at Walmart Creative Studios will play a pivotal role in the ideation and execution of seasonal fashion campaigns. This position focuses on creating innovative and cohesive visual concepts that align with brand objectives, enhancing customer engagement and loyalty. The role requires a blend of creative expertise and organizational skills to maintain high standards in fashion photo and video shoots, ensuring brand consistency across all creative assets.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute strategic ideas in response to creative briefs to enhance KPIs around brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
  • Apply critical thinking to ensure alignment with creative objectives.
  • Support the ideation, design, and execution of fashion initiatives and conversion-driven campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the team to create cohesive, on-brand visual concepts, write scripts, and work with production partners.
  • Contribute to casting decisions, location scouting, shot lists, and other production elements.
  • Participate in shoots and support post-production processes, ensuring cohesive asset delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform creative decisions.
  • Support brand cohesion across all creative assets and materials at every level of the consumer journey.
  • Build relationships with peer teams to support business growth and continuity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an art director or similar role in the fashion retail industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of multi-channel creative projects.
  • Exceptional visual storytelling and world-building skills.
  • Strong collaboration and time management skills.
  • In-depth understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in creative tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Figma, Office 365, and Slack.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a creative role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design or a related field.
