About the position

The Senior Manager, Delivery Data Science & Analytics at Curinos is responsible for leading the Marketing Solutions team to deliver analytical marketing solutions in the consumer banking vertical. This role involves collaborating with clients to apply scientific marketing principles, driving excellence in team activities, and ensuring effective use of Curinos data and platforms to achieve productive outcomes. The position requires a strong focus on data science, machine learning, and statistical methodologies to influence strategic goals and enhance client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technical leaders, including senior executives, to shape client engagements.
  • Establish and evangelize best practices in experimentation and influence stakeholders in maturing their experimentation mindset.
  • Influence stakeholders in the rigorous application of statistical, machine learning, and AI approaches to ensure correct measurement of business outcomes.
  • Translate business objectives into technical requirements and collaborate with product, engineering, and applied ML teams for scalable productization.
  • Adapt communication styles in real-time based on the audience and situation; negotiate prioritization of key projects with senior leaders and third-party stakeholders.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a diverse range of individual contributors and people managers, focusing on performance and long-term growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience managing enterprise customers in machine learning and data science for consumer-facing SaaS products.
  • Knowledge of statistical inference, experiment design, probability, sampling methodologies, regression, classification, clustering, data mining, time series analysis, causal inference analysis, and deep learning techniques.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python-based machine learning frameworks, with experience in cloud settings and large datasets.
  • Exceptional communication skills tailored to various audiences, from technical experts to business decision-makers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others towards data-driven business goals.
  • Experience managing teams of data scientists and analysts.
  • Advanced degree (PhD preferred) or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
